January Employee of the Month

At Glen Meadows, we know that to provide the best care, we must find the right people who will be in the right places doing the right things for the right reasons. Our team is filled with outstanding individuals who are willing to go above and beyond to provide our residents with the best quality of life possible. We like to show our appreciation to them by sharing with the community all of the wonderful ways that make them unique. This month, we'd like to recognize our January Employee of the Month, Joey Newton!



Joey has worked at Glen Meadows since 1995, and for the last 20 years, he has been our awesome Floor Technician. Joey takes pride in making sure the floors are spotless. Along with caring for our floors, Joey genuinely cares for our residents. He takes the time to get to know each resident personally and become their friend. Joey loves and cares for each resident as if they are his own family. We are so lucky to have someone like Joey as part of our team.

Joey likes to spend his spare time with his family; especially his two brothers and nephew, Nick. Joey and Nick like to play video games together and watch movies. Joey also likes to spend time with his bird, Rosie, and his three dogs. Many of us around Glen Meadows refer to Joey as our human Google because he is full of information about many topics!

Thank you, Joey, for keeping our facility looking beautiful and feeling clean for our residents. The kindness and compassion you show to our residents and your co-workers are unmatched. The smile that everyone sees as you walk down the hallway brightens everyone's day!
