June Employee Spotlight

Glen Meadows wants to give our community a peak inside the lives of our staff, who work so hard to provide quality care to our residents. This month, we are highlighting Clarisse Massa, RN!

Clarisse recently graduated as a Registered Nurse, and we want to show our support regarding her healthcare journey! She has been an STNA for five years, graduating from Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science. We are so happy she chose to further her career with us at Glen Meadows.


Clarisse's passion for healthcare started at a young age. "My dad inspired me to become a Nurse. He had health issues for most of his life and I wanted to have a better understanding of how to best care for him and others going through the same issues. As an STNA, I was so limited and wanted to know and do more, so I decided to get my RN."

When Clarisse started her training, she quickly grew a big heart for the residents and knew she was meant for more. "During my training on the clinical floor, I noticed some patients just need a listening ear, someone to talk to or explain things to them to make them feel better. I want to be that Nurse who not only passes out medication but listens and advocates for patients to optimize their care in making them feel better."

Congratulations to Clarisse for obtaining her RN! We are so lucky to have someone as caring, compassionate, and hardworking as her! Thank you for making a difference every day.
